GETTING THERE

The International Convention Centre Sydney (ICC Sydney) is easily accessed by car, bus or public transport.

Parking

ICC Sydney operates two 24 hour car parking stations with a total of 826 parking spaces including 11 disabled parking bays, 25 motorcycle parking spaces, 50 bicycle racks and 30 electric car charge spaces.

ICC Sydney operates as cashless parking only.
Payment for parking can be made using credit card.

TICKETLESS - tap credit card/phone pay on entry - no ticket is issued - tap same credit card/phone pay on exit and payment is made.

TICKET - take a ticket on entry, then when ready to exit pay at pay stations or exit gates with ticket and credit card.

Standard parking rates (will apply for all vehicles entering the car parks):
  • 0-1 hour - $18.00
  • 1-2 hours - $30.00
  • 2-3 hours - $38.00
  • 3-4 hours - $44.00
  • 4+ hours (to 4am only) - $49.00
  • Night Rate (Entry after 5pm and exit before 4am - car park rates reset at 4am daily) - $28.00

Public Transport

All visitors to the Darling Harbour precinct are advised to take note of any following public transport changes or closures before heading to an event.

Recommended access to the ICC Sydney is via public transport including buses, trains and light rail, all of which are within walking distance to the ICC Sydney. We advise that you use the NSW Transport Journey Planner as you prepare for the day.

LIGHT RAIL

The Exhibition Centre Station is serviced on the light rail line that runs between Central and Dulwich Hill, with services running every 8-10 minutes. From Central Station to Exhibition Centre Station, the light rail takes approximately 10 minutes. Please click here for more information.

L1 light rail services operating from 11pm (midnight on Friday) to 6am between Central and The Star in both directions have been temporarily suspended. 

Daily light rail services will continue to operate as per normal schedule between Central and Dulwich Hill in both directions but services are no longer stopping at The Star. All other stops will continue to operate as per normal. These temporary service changes will be in place until further notice.

TRAINS

The closest train station to the ICC Sydney is Town Hall Station, apprixmately 15-20 minutes walk. Town Hall is serviced by all trains on the Sydney train network. Intercity and TrainLink regional trains terminate at Central Station, however there are regular trains to Town Hall and surrounding city circle stations. Plan your journey by clicking here.

Walking directions to the ICC Sydney Theatre from Town Hall:

  • Exit Town Hall and head south on George St. past St. Andrews Cathedral, before turning right onto Bathurst Street.
  • Continue walking approximately 300m and turn left onto Day St, following this across Harbour St and onto the path through Tumbalong Park.
  • Entrance to the ICC Sydney Theatre is at the most south point of the building, at the left when approaching from Tumbalong Park.

FERRY

Ferries run half-hourly from both Pyrmont Bay and Darling Harbour wharves, to Circular Quay, Balmain East, McMahon’s Point and Manly. Ferries to other destinations depart from Circular Quay - a short ferry ride, or alternatively a 30 minute walk, away. Plan your journey by clicking here.

BUS

The 389 bus departs from the Australian Maritime Museum every 10 minutes. The bus travels through the city via Town Hall and St. James stations before travelling through the Inner East towards Bondi Junction and North Bondi. Plan your journey by clicking here.

School Bus

There is no school bus parking provided. All school buses will need to organise their own pick up and drop off.
