Frequently Asked Questions Regarding Coronavirus

Updated 7th February 2021

Q: Can we access the Covid-Safe plan for the National Young Leaders Days?

Yes! We are 100% committed to providing a Covid-Safe environment. We use the best venues in Australia to host our events, and these venues each implement their own Covid-Safe plan unique to their venues and to their state government restrictions. To get the documentation you need, we suggest you access our Halogen Risk Assessment Document by CLICKING HERE and on PAGE 2 of this document you will see a direct link to the Covid-Safe plan for the venue that you are attending.

Q: Are all 2021 events proceeding?

Yes! We look forward to seeing you there. As everybody knows, there is a chance that event restrictions may be imposed at late notice. If this requires an event to be cancelled, we will update this FAQ webpage instantly and also email anybody who has purchased tickets for the even that requires cancellations.

Q: We had registered to attend NYLD in Melbourne on 20th March 2020 which was didn't go ahead, what happens next?

The Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre  is owned by the Victorian Government which ruled that this event is among those that could not proceed, in accordance with a Federal government event ban (we emailed all registered ticket purchasers on 13th March to give immediate notice.) We sent a further email on 22nd March to advise, in detail, the arrangements for the alternative 'online event'. A follow-up email was sent on 17th April to those who had not yet responded to us. If you did not receive this email (and believe that you should have) then please contact us at australia@halogen.org.au to inform us.
