Commissioner Michael Fuller

Commissioner Fuller joined the NSW Police Force in 1987. He performed general duties in metropolitan Sydney before progressing to detective and investigation roles. Having received many Police medals, he was awarded the prestigious Australian Police Medal in 2009.

In 2010 he commenced a series of Assistant Commissioner roles, allowing him to be involved in the community in a wide range of different capacities. He was appointed as the Commissioner of Police in 2017.

In recent years the Commssioner has played a key role in managing the Covid-19 pandemic, by providing leadership to both the police force and the NSW community.

Commissioner Fuller has a special interest in leadership and holds a number of leadership related diplomas.
