Laura’s international success as a professional basketballer traces back to when she was 10 years of age and first started playing for the Sturt Sabres Basketball Club in Adelaide.

Within 7 years Laura was part of the Australian Opals squad and by the next year had won the first of 3 World Championships. She has also represented Australia at 4 Olympic Games. Laura has played for the Adelaide Lightning for 8 seasons, and a total of 10 seasons in Italy, France and the USA.

Laura is acknowledged as an incredible role model, having been a recent captain of the Adelaide Lightning, and she now represents her peers as part of the Australian Basketball Players’ Association board.
