Lockie is the Founder and CEO of the Indigenous Communities Education and Awareness Foundation (ICEA). Lockie established the organisation after an eye opening experience in a remote community in 2006. Lockie's commitment has developed a NFP with a clear purpose of reconciliation inspired by young people.

The Foundation has developed into becoming a sustainable organisation one that continually engages young people to be the change makers in their community.

Lockie is a board member at the School for Social Entrepreneurs Australia and Broome Futures limited.

Lockie in 2011 and 2013 was the Australian youth representative at CHOGM for the Commonwealth Youth Forum, current Western Australian mentoring Ambassador, Australian head delegate for the G20 youth summit the Y20 in 2014, and Australian youth awards cultural understanding winner 2013 and Young Western Australian of the year finalist in 2014.
