Gretel Bueta

Gretel Bueta is considered by many as the biggest star currently playing in the Australian Netball scene.

She is one of the most accurate shooters ever to play for the Australian Diamonds and the Queensland Firebirds. Gretel has been awarded Australian Netball’s highest individual honour, the coveted Liz Ellis Diamond Award, along with International Player of the Year. She has also been named the Goal Attack in the Suncorp Super Netball Team of the Year.

Gretel was a key part of the Australian Diamonds Gold Medal win at the 2022 Commonwealth Games.

She is passionate about heath and nutrition having recently completed her Nutrition and Dietetics Degree at Griffith University. A beach girl at heart, she is “happiest when out in nature” or spending time with her family.
