Lee Crockford

Social Entrepreneur

Lee Crockford is passionate about instigating change through innovation, the arts and education. He is the CEO & Co-Founder of Spur Projects, working in the area of men's mental health and suicide prevention. He is also a 2013 Global Laureate Fellow with the International Youth Foundation and was the recipient of the Australasian Men's Health Forum's "Youth Contribution Award".

With a background in project development, he has worked around the world, exploring new ways of thinking and delivering content. Lee is an alumnus of both the Foundation for Young Australian's "Young Social Pioneer" and Do School's "Global Music Fellowship" programs.

An experienced facilitator and speaker, Lee has presented and mentored in numerous countries around social change, entrepreneurship, innovation, education and arts for organisations including yLEAD, FYA, English Pocket Opera Company, Queensland University of Technology, Youth Arts Queensland and R.E.A.C.H. (Regional Excellence in Artistic and Cultural Hubs).

He was also a co-host on channel Ten's "The Project".

Lee is the founder and co-founder of a number of side projects including futurepostbox.com, Get the Antidote, Acknowledgement of Country and The Plot. He has served as Vice-President of Optiminds and as an advisory panel member of the Community Service Learning Lab at the Queensland University of Technology. Lee is also the current Community Catalyst at Creative Enterprise Australia.
