I would like to extend my congratulations to you all for participating in this year’s National Young Leaders Days. You have demonstrated leadership within your schools, and have been instrumental in taking action to improve your local communities. Successful leadership requires higher-order thinking, the capacity to listen, and the ability to successfully represent and advocate on behalf of others. Events such as the National Young Leaders Days will provide you with the opportunity to learn from others, network and enhance your existing leadership skills. I am sure that this conference will be a stimulating experience for you all.
